Working principle of vacuum belt filter

The working principle of the vacuum belt filter is to use the negative pressure generated by the vacuum pump, when the slurry passes through the filter cloth, he filter cake is formed on the belt, and then the filter cake is scraped off the belt to achieve solid-liquid separation Vacuum belt filter is mainly composed of belt, filter area, cleaning area, press area, vacuum system and collection system. The slurry enters the filter area and is prepressed by the prepressing roller, then evenly sprayed on the filter cloth to form a filter cake. In the cleaning area, the cleaning pump sprays water to flush the filter cloth so that the impurities on the filter cake are washed away. In the press area, the filter cloth is clamped by multiple press rollers, which compacts the filter cake and improves the solid-liquid separation efficiency. Finally, the cake is scraped off with a scraper and collected through a collection system.
